Volunteer Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
When someone in our community dials 911 for a medical emergency, we are the ones who answer the call. Southern Valley Fire & Rescue has emergency medical responders (EMR), emergency medical technicians (EMT) and Paramedics (Medic). Sanford Ambulance and Kindred Ambulance both provide transportation for our patients. Training is the 3rd Tuesday of every month at SVFR in Horace.
